Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients in a family medicine and urgent care setting
- Obtain histories, perform physical exams, and develop appropriate assessments and treatment plans
- Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic testing
- Explain to the patient test results and expected health outcomes
- Prescribe medications and treatments appropriately within scope and practice standards
- Perform procedures as appropriate to training and experience
- Document accurately and timely
- Maintain professionalism, sound judgement, and patient confidentiality at all times
- Support quality patient care, efficient workflow, and a respectful team environment
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current NCCPA certification
- Current North Carolina license
- DEA registration or eligibility
- Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with medical terminology, charting, and diagnostic tests

Compensation: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
